Technique is important but so is your explosive power. Want to pop higher? Do exercises that help you jump higher.

That small contact point where you flick the board for your kickflip is a similar concept of Nyjah Houston if im not mistaken

I knew a local guy when I was a kid who used damn near half a full size bar of wax for like a 5 ft grind, so one day I asked him about it and he said obviously it’s to help him glide on longer grinds, then I brought up the cost per bar and he took me to his trunk, opened it, it was filled to the brim with wax and extra decks, he gave me like 10 bars and a fresh 8.5 deck, turns out he owned a local skate shop and his cousin owned the wax company

Great video bruv, I think one thing that deserves some attention is that Ishod’s front shuvs are 99 percent back foot - as we know the scoop is generally controlled by back foot regardless of foot position but Ishod exaggerates this by keeping his front foot entirely stationary which, in my opinion, is what mostly attributes to the lazy effortless steez of his front shuvs.

I’m in shock ! It worked!! I had some Velcro knee straps and I just did it and last night my knees were killing me and today I couldn’t get the irritation to subside ! I did this and it feels like I don’t even have an issue ! And I have been diagnosed with knee arthritis 😅 thank you for this vid ! I’ve never would have known !

😛 Once I start the boardslide on anything that isn't a ledge, I don't know how to rotate out of it and it feels kinda nasty. I learned on ledges many moons ago, and it feels safer... good shoulder tips though. I also don't know how to feel about boardrails. Also, Where you been man?! I've been skating for 7months now!

maurio has a strong and quick flick. plus he has longer legs and can jump higher. i have the same exact problem as you. its the timing and the flick. Being pudgy like Mario from nintendo makes it a little harder to have hang time in the air.

Today I cleaned one pair with mineral spirit and then applied oil. It became waaaaay faster (bones red big balls). I guess it has something to do with the factory lube, which must be really sh*t. Guess it's thicker to withstand everything while it gets to you from the factory.

So my husband and I are both 30. We really haven't grown up fashion wise, we both still wear Tripp and goth as we did when we were 16 and such. Granted he has a very great career so obviously he dresses different at work, but on our days off and weekends, we dress like it's early 00's still.
